I am looking for a (very reasonably priced) Day of Coordinator….any suggestions?
Hi Jenny, I don’t know of too many coordinators. I recently heard about a wedding planner named Lindsay of Wheat Blossom Weddings she probably does day of coordination as well, it might be worth giving her a call! http://wheatblossom.blogspot.com/
PS- I am featuring a wedding she coordinated on Friday!
Check out my website. Prices are listed and I offer discounts at most Bridal Shows! Just don’t forget when it comes to a day of coordinator it is vital to interview, trust, and depend on the person you hire 100%. Happy Wedding Planning.
First of all, THANK YOU for creating this blog. I stumbled on it yesterday and can already feel the wedding-planning stress decrease! Secondly, I am still looking for a venue in Spokane, and had the idea that a big, open urban space like an empty warehouse or loft downtown would be really cool. I’m just having a hard time finding something like this and don’t even really know where to begin. Any suggestions?
Hi Celina, thanks for checking out the blog! I LOVE the idea of a loft wedding, so cool! I just heard of a place called the White Room in Spokane, I don’t know much about it and there isn’t much info on the website but it looks really cool! And I am 90% sure they do weddings. Here is the website, http://tptglobal.com/specs/.
Also, this is a little different, but I know that Rick Singer (as in the photographer) has an awesome rooftop space. My sister had a party there and said it was amazing. It has beautiful views of downtown and is decorated nicely. I don’t think he regularly rents it out, but I am sure for the right couple he would! Hope that helps and if you have any other question just let me know (and I will let you know if I come across anything else).
Celena, Have you looked at Barrister Winery? They have a large room that they actually use for winemaking. It has exposed brick walls and wood beams galore! Beacon Hill does all of their scheduling/catering.
Have you heard that the rooftop of the Spokesman-Review building is now available for rent? My friends are getting married there in August 2011. There’s some info here: http://www.spokesman.com/marketing/thepavilion/.
Oh my gosh! How did I not know that?! It looks like an awesome setting. Pity they can only hold 70, but for a small wedding it would be perfect. Thanks for the tip!
